downtown toronto is a hodge podge of old and new achitectural structures. on the left is the great mural at the back of the flatiron building which mimics the façade of its neighbour, a 'heritage' building which you can see a portion of on the lower right hand. the building beside it is also a 'heritage' building but since had permission to build a condo above it.
i had all good intentions of going on a walkabout at lunch time with my camera. domage! the battery was dead and i didn't have the spare battery in my purse nor in my computer bag. sometimes i really really like to kick myself in the rear.
