this here is a bit of a cliché; the been there, done that kind of thing. the tower is about six city blocks from our building. this is the view from the southwest part of the building. i used my co-worker wanda's (not the fish) hand to "grab" the tower. i had fun trying to get a good shot until wanda's hand and arm cramped. it was a three-way toss up between this photo, another panoramic shot (but with a bonus surprise image) and something officious. this won.
in this photo you can see part of toronto's union station building on the lower left and the citibank building between the tower's image and the dark column on the right which is the royal york hotel. i didn't really process the photo, just added the frame and vignette. why, because i like it.
it was a most pleasant day today, another sunny and cloudless day.
@danig - thanks, DG. you're so sweet. @slang - i would've loved to see how ridiculous i looked trying to set this one up. wanda is the type who always laughs and loud! she was laughing at how i was crouching just to get a good shot. what i'd do to impress you, guys! @mlillvis - thank you, melissa. @steeler - thanks. i did have fun.
@ilseal - life is too short not to have some kind of fun, isn't it, ms. ilse? i'd like for you to hold the CN tower! i'd love to come to pisa someday. italy is definitely in my itinerary if and when i do visit europe. thank you.
@samdan@cscecil@roth - thank you, my dear ladies. almost did a filler today, the weather was so bad this morning what with the rain looked like it was going to continue. but the skies opened up today so....no need for fillers!
