the CN tower shot is not complete without it's little brother (the arena formerly known as the) skydome, the one with the retractable roof (and i'm not sure if it still holds the record in the major leagues, but it is supposed to be the only one with such). yup, the skydome, home of the world series 1992 and 1993 champions, the toronto blue jays.
so, the weather made up its mind in the evening and decided it will be a cloudless day in toronto. so what to do then? nah-ah, i'm not telling you. but i took this photo at the police basin at the waterfront. and i once again merited a kick in the arse because i kept going everywhere and i almost missed this one.
i lingered at the lakeside and took photos of porter planes as they landed. it's nice to see a photo of a commercial plane passing a yacht as it prepares to taxi down on the runway. but i had to be quick, first the planes are too quiet and they are superfast, almost like a blink. and for the second time this week, i got chased by a damn loon. it was lucky i don't eat meat, i could've made it into a peking duck with lots of soya sauce. gheez! how did i get into a story about food anyway?

very beautiful shot you have the right place to capture together CN tower and the skydome I really miss down town and really love that place everything is just infront of my nose.

@danig@summerfield Somehow I missed this shot and I was not ignoring you, ladies! I've been either working extra or tied up with tennis and other extra-curriculars. Let me address the photo first....excellent angle and use of the marina down by the water. Bonus marks for getting the Rog Mahal in there as well! (short for Rogers Centre...heard that on the radio the other day). Now here's my dilemma for your proposed challenge. My family and I are taking a vacation and driving down to PEI starting Sat and going til Tues July 12. I have no idea if I'll be able to post any photos while I am down there, or even comment for that matter. So if you are willing to wait for my photos til I get back, I'm in. If not, then I'll wait til you ladies are finished and join in on the next one. Let me know and thank you for the invite, I am honoured. :D
