the sand is not 100% white but what does it matter if you have gorgeous weather (if you can call 45 degrees celcius with the humidity factored in as gorgeous),. nary a cloud in the sky again but from where i stand facing the sea, this is the view to my right.
okay, not rubbing it in, but couldn't we all do with a view like this. am seriously thinking i could spend my retirement money and pension in a place like this, where there are no storms to contend with, no volcanoes and earthquakes. if i have to live forever, i would choose to live here.
doesn't this look like a howard steele shot @steeler? (except for the tilt of course!)
@karenann - to tell you from my perspective how beautiful the place is, there was a lot of food that i could actually eat and savour. but i was taking photographs instead. now, food is something i do not ignore. but this once, just this once, all i wanted was to take in the scenery, record it with my camera - something to look forward to when reminiscing in a few weeks time when i am in my bedroom crying while there's a blizzard going on outside. thanks, karenann, much appreciated.
love the composition, what a gorgeous view! the palm tree just rubs it in a little more! lol. very happy for you, that you are having a wonderful holiday. i'm behind a bit ... just catching up on your pics nows.
