i have "bleh" pictures for today. then i saw the moon through my kithcen window so i thought i'd go out to the back of the building to take photos. the moon's always good to me. as per my astrology sign, since i was born under the cancer sign, i am a moon child. but i don't know what that means.
there's a tree at the back and that obstructed my view of the moon. in a way it is good as now i have a different perspective. so i cropped and processed the pic in picnik. at one point i liked it inverted, as in the moon is black and everything else is white. bleh! so i settled for sepia. yeah, you couldn't tell.
i think for this month, i will take a lot of night shots as i ponder what will be my ultimate posting for my 365th day. methinks it should be something special; something that would set off fireworks. got to find my thinking cap so i can ponder better.
I do like the way you captured this. The tree branches add a nice effect. It is getting close to the big 365! I hope I can get a fitting shot for that.

I had tried to catch the moon last night as well, but don't have the right camera for what I'd hoped to capture. Interesting choice to put it in sepia, but it works. I'm only 21 days away from #365 and I have no clue as to what my final shot will be!

@pamfromcalgary - i know i want to continue, but like you, i find it time consuming. i should like to start a new album but really the only thing i learned over the last year is how to shoot straight while the car is running (or the boat). i want to be able to do more with my camera (i get photo envy whenever i see good shots) but i know i would never be able to get past my bridge and/or point and shoot cameras. but the one thing i'm sure i like to be doing and put more time on is my writing. but i can't seem to make a good combination of it and photography.
@okeanos - no, jeremy, i didn't get to see the eclipse last night; i knew there was going to be one but i wasn't motivated enough to take photos. thank you.

@summerfield - I had seen it clearly, thanks for the clear skies last night... though my cam's not powerful enough to take a shot, I used my friend's dslr to take some pictures of the moon.. hopefully, I'll upload it...
I was also looking at the moon this night thinking that it would do for a good shot..only I didn't take my camera out...tooo cold!! You captured the moon for both of us...how sweet!
i love love this! so many moon shots are just zzzzzz yawn......but i really like what you've done. My, you ARE getting close to your 365th - - i'm a couple months behind you....good luck.
I looooooove moon shots! This one's dramatic and a beauty... A friend of mine who's also doing 365 took a beautiful moon shot last year (and cant get over it since then) here's the link :-)
