partner has an unopened container of strawberries in the fridge. dang! i couldn't put them back in the container without jamming them in. the berries were like a puzzle that you just had to put them as they were for the container to close. and i am so totally winging this leap year bucket challenge. but that's the idea, isn't it?

in any case, whenever i see strawberries, a scene from the movie "9-1/2 weeks" always comes to mind. that was in the mid-80's, starring mickey rourke and kim bassinger. it is a very sexy movie but with only a minimum of bare skin, mostly kim bassinger's legs. i have never looked at strawberries the same way again after i've seen that movie. and i don't eat strawberries anymore since then. but that was because the doctor so ordered, along with other highly acidic foods.

thank you very much, lovely folks, for your visits and comments. i'm trying my best to keep up with yours still, but i'm getting there. give me a shout out if i haven't made it to your albums yet.

Great photo of the strawberries. Nice presentation. They remind me that I has some in my fridge. I should make myself a snack.

perfect shot for "Red Day" -- and really cool photo! The briillant red on the crystal dish is very dramatic!

This is simply wonderful. I like the vividness against the colorless sparkle of the crystal. Almost like roses on ice

They are perfect in that crystal bowl. So beautiful . . great color and shadow. I haven't tasted a sweet, juicy strawberry in ages. They look so beautiful in the store, but the taste has disappeared. Must find a farm who grows them around here this summer. Great photo, summerfield.
