you could probably see forever, as in the james bond theme song. or see a jetplane flying across the very blue sky and then it gets to be a good photo opp for this week's minimalism theme. so is this minimal enough? got to be and i hope the challenge master approves.
i'm off to niagara falls to meet another good friend who lives in germany and vacationing in michigan. i'm meeting her new boyfriend who apparently does not speak a word of english. that's the bad news. the good news is i speak at least three sentences in german: "was is das" (what is that?) and "auf wiedershen" (goodbye!). i am such a linguist, aren't you proud of me? to be honest: i just did a quick brush up at google translate. i forgot my german from 40 years ago :-) except for "achtung, bitte" (attention please!).

thank you in advance, folks, for your kind views and comments. i shall catch up with you when i get back from the falls. cheerios!
cropped to enlarge the image and name tag otherwise this is sooc.
Pretty minimal, there, Vikki! I love to see the jet and the contrail and imagine where those people are off to. I hope you don't scare the boyfriend by shouting "Attention! What's THAT?" when you look at him. hahahahahaha Have fun!
@espyetta - aha! i just pulled my german book from 40 years ago and now i remember how to say "that's all the german i know!" it just might get overused for the next 24 hours! hahahaha. i wish you were there to laugh your head off.
@summerfield Me too! This is going to be funny! You should try to get a pic of his face when you keep saying "that's all the german I know" and then of course, post it on 365!
@karenann - karenann, you kill me, my friend. you just shot a picture of a kid dancing. in dimmed lighting. without any trace of blur. in beautiful colours. of course, you can do this with more precision. i'm telling you, you are very good at this. thank you, karenann.
I may be quitting soon, summerfield. My photos seem to be getting worse and not better. I certainly am not qualified to be on here ... and it's not for lack of trying. Your support has been "over the top wonderful!" And for that, I thank you.
love this, and of course, your narrative. have so much fun with your friend. oh - just realized, by the time you read this, you will already be back. hope you had a wonderful time!
It's a great minimal shot! Love the vapors that are brighter than the plane. Very cool! Have fun at Niagra! Someday we'll meet up there too- I think I have to renew my passport now- it might have expired!
@pandorasecho - i know a similar poem that we used for exercise: you say "big watermelon" and you make a wide circle and stretch your arms really wide. then "cut it into two" whereupon your hands meet and make a slicing motion. "half for me, half for you". repeat! good for stretches before going into the more strenous exercises. thank you, dixie.
