This little chap lives in a grassy bank just opposite the kitchen window which is where I was standing when I took this shot. He looks a bit like a mouse but he doesn't have much of a tail, just a very short one. That's how you can tell the difference.
@happysnaps@chimfa Thank you both. Our garden is a bit like a nature reserve and because I'm at home most of the time running my B&B I'm forever looking through the windows or sitting outside with my camera when stop to have a cup of tea.
