WE were staying with my brother and sister-in-law in Neasham and I noticed sparrows feeding chicks in the bird box. It wasn't until I looked at the photos that I realised they aren't the sparrows I'm familiar with i.e. house sparrows, these are tree sparrows. The colouring is quite different.
