Juvenile Starling

I went to Llangorse Lake again today (a natural lake in the Brecon Beacons National Park) where I came upon a flock of starlings. Most of you in the UK probably wouldn't get excited about starlings but I haven't seen one for years and haven't ever photographed one. I got quite excited.

Sorry Sue - I can't get excited about starlings here in Australia! They are everywhere here (introduced from UK) and take over our native birds - they are very high on my "do not like" list!!!

Isn't he lovely ! I haven't seen a juvenile before -- we do not have starlings visiting very often let alone youngsters !
