I seem to have taken a lot of photos of starlings this year (sorry Denise @gilbertwood) it's because I haven't seen any for years until this year and oddly enough I quite like them.
We have seen very few in the last couple of years -at one time they would come in flocks and take over the garden -- like you I quite like them -- beautiful plumage and quirky and sharp movements ! --quite intelligent I think !
