@pennyrae - are you in the USA Penny? The American Robin is more of a thrush. The UK robin is smaller and a totally different species.

@pennyrae I remember robins from when I lived in California many years ago. They're HUGE!! As @g3xbm says they're a different species.

@susiemc yes the USA robin is a lot different. We are all very blessed with so many species of birds for us to photograph.
