This may not be the prettiest or the most colourful of butterflies but all butterflies are a wonder of nature. There were lots of these in the long grass at Hergest Croft. They always seem to choose to settle either on bare earth or on dried grass which doesn't necessarily make the best photo but they do blend in well with the background.
