There's a huge rookery up the lane behind the house. It must be overcrowded because this year there are three nests in some tall trees just the other side of our garden fence. It's amusing to see the adult feeding the youngnster which is as huge as the parent. The jackdaws are nesting in a very old, very large dovecote in my friend's garden across the road. They nest there every year, it's like a block of flats for jackdaws. The birds are under a bird feeder in the front of the house.
