Beaver in the River Otter 1

While we were in Devon we were very privileged and very lucky to see beavers on the river otter which ran through the village of Otterton where we were staying. We were chatting to some people while out walking and looking at some trees which had very obviously been gnawed by beavers and these people told us where and when to come back and see the beavers. They haven't been introduced here but have somehow managed to find their way into the river otter catchment. I've never seen beavers before so this was really exciting.
Apparently there are also otters in the river but we didn't see them.
Great capture. i am still waiting to see my first beaver.
