Some people have asked to see a picture of me in my pirate costume.
I should however point out that this is not actually a costume as I tend to dress as a pirate most of the time these days.
This shot was taken by my friend Georgia Allen of us performing at the Smugglers Market at Mount Edgcumbe last summer and gives a good idea what we look like. That's me in the middle playing the guitar (Gazoukki actuall).
We are a non profit making charity group who raise money for the RNLI, Children's Hospice Southwest and The Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.
We perform our own brand of edgy, rocky sea shanties as well as stage plays, sword fighting displays, cannon and flintlock displays and even full scale battle re-enactments.
For my sins (of which there are many) I am the Captain of the 35 strong pirate crew. I am also the musical director and the treasurer of the group. It is one of the best and most enjoyable things I have ever done. We all have a great time, the audiences love what we do and we raise thousands of pounds for good causes. It don't get much better than that really. :)

Good to know the excellent activities raises so much well needed money for good causes.
I've described you to my work colleagues who are completely envious of you. They too love pirates and celebrate 'Pirates day' each year and get dressed up in the correct attire and attempt to speak like pirates all day (admittedly, a little difficult in a busy traffic office).
So they will be watching your photos very closely from now on.
