I must confess that I like a bit of vintage and retro (being a bit vintage and retro myself)....... However there are some looks that should be left in the dim and distant past to rot, fester and disintegrate into dust, rather than being dragged out of the early 70s closet to sear or retinas once more.
My poor camera had to be left in a darkened room for a couple of hours so it's sensor could recover from this shot.
It is interesting that most of the people who run vintage clothing shops weren't even born in the early 70's and they seem to have a very odd idea about what we used to wear. I feel slightly embarrassed that they think we all went around looking like refugees from Showaddywaddy. :)
