My get pushed challenge this week from @rachelwithey is to "take a photo making use of negative space." I did a google search and read a few articles to get a better understanding, and am not sure that this does it. It may need to have stronger contrast to be considered 'true' negative space and I also think the clouds are a bit too noticeable (or the the blue in the sky with the clouds means it's not negative space). I have a backup plan if Sunday gets here before I've able to do one that is more aligned with what I think are the rules/definition.
This is a lovely shot! I like your composition. The clouds are definitely an important element. They create such a dreamy feeling. Great job working on your challenge. I love how you go about it!
Love this. The flower looks beautiful. I really like the clouds as they mirror the flowers but are soft enough that it still looks like negative space to me. Great shot.
I think you did great... I thought negative space was just... negative space. Space without anything in it. I didn't know it required a lot of contrast.
I'm not knowledgeable about negative space but I do love this shot. The sky gives a softness to the crisp focus of the flowers. And the focus is spot on.
