Not much to say (for background, information about the church is in my main album's Saturday and Sunday entries). This stairwell is one we used to get up to the second floor in the church. We had to walk as if we were climbing loose, wet rocks, since the stairs are covered in debris and crumbling. The hardest part was the railings are not safe so we could not hold them at all, instead balancing on the stairs while carrying our camera, tripod, and camera bag. The light, I thought, was amazing against the peeling paint and exposed structures.
Love the light and textures in this shot, but maybe a shot of a bit more of the building as well might just have made the shot a bit better, maybe? Still a great shot though...
