My goal for today was to use the CSC-35 challenge Sunny 16 rules (aperture f16; ISO = Shutter Speed, in this case 200). That was HARD to do as it requires a TON of sun! Even here, with blinding sun, it was tough. But I found it made such a difference in the quality of the color, as well as the more obvous DoF. I'm looking down Pikes Peak Blvd in Colorado Springs toward the peak. You can see what the aperture does for DoF as you can even read the small print below the 1st Bank building sign.

It gives a great POV and definition! My camera tells me what fstop to use and not me, it unfortunately but I do feel the F setting is vital! Your photo is a much nicer and more interesting shot than just a candid landscape!
Wow what a wonderful view of the mountain - fancy being able to see that view every day!! I love the deep colour tones of this shot. I need to investigate this challenge you are doing - I have not heard of having the same ISO and shutter speed before.
This is lovely, the combination rectangles and triangles works really well emphasised by the sun picking up the autumn colours in the trees, the building on the right and the snow on the mountains. Excellent shot. Fav.
Beautiful!! Oh I was at Pikes Peak a lot time ago when my mother-in-law was still living. At that time I wasn't so interested in photography as I am now so that would be so fun to see colorful Colorado!
