For ONS6's dreaded selfie. Hating selfies I thought I'd have some fun (nerd fun, clearly) before going out to dinner with some of my former students. I set up my gorillapod at the end of the hall with an external shutter release. I tried several until finally realizing the release cable wasn't long enough. And I'd forgotten how to set the delayed timer. Just as I was about to give up, I heard @jyokota's husband's voice from a room at the end of the hall. YAY! I enlisted Bill (also here for the conference) to be the release cable button pusher and did several more 'takes.' One finally came out -- this was a lot harder to do than I thought it would be!
