This photo was taken yesterday on my walk through Millennium Park. While back in the area today I didn't have time to retake so decided to process yesterday's as I don't think I could have improved on it anyway. Although today the sun was out so it may not have looked so flat. Still working on black and white book club's theme -- the normality of this black and white scene is this year's winter, which is anything but normal. All we've had is snow and freezing weather so this seems to be the new normal for us at the moment.
Thank you for your wonderful comments on the Calder sculpture and the b&w shots yesterday. It's almost 10:00pm and I've just finished work for the day, so will catch up on viewing and commenting tomorrow.
Love these benches! Great pov and comp.
We are delaying our trip home because of winter storm in Oregon. Not nearly as bad as your storms..Oregon is not as prepared for bitter cold and heavy snow. It happens on occasion and is usually short lived. Not good traveling weather though. Wouldn't mind the chance for photo ops though.
