Marching Pylons

Taken from the car (I was a passenger) on the road from France to Spain. I like the generic feel to the shot -- it could be almost anywhere in the world. I had planned to contrast it with a shot I took of a modern windmill in the same frame as two smokestacks from a nuclear energy plant, but it didn't turn out that well.

Love the use of b&w using that sky as backdrop to give the crossing line patteren a heightened drama. Funny how you mentioned this could be "anywhere in the world". I was just eye balling a similar set of pylons near my home the other day. Thinking how I'd like to take a photo one day when the lighting and sky were just right.
