Our mentor/critique group is working through macro this month and our new theme is 'man-made.' It's cold and snowy so I had a bit of fun with a few clips and my laptop.
Well it made me smile before heading to bed. And photography for me is good if it makes me smile! Fabulous focus in the right places to make him look alive.
@newbank Thanks Ruth! It was funny as I was looking through the lens, his face just popped out so I ended up making sure that the eyes at least were in focus, as well as the 'mouth.'
That is so cool. Love how his ears are splayed out. Will never treat bulldog clips with disdain ever again as they are bizarre little critters after all :)) Fav
And just like that, your clips take on a personality. He needs a name, needs to meet 3P and the Gang! Amazing how finding a face in something suddenly makes it alive.
@lyndemc His only limitation as a figure is (well two limitations), he falls apart really easily! AND, he only looks good with macro closeup, so his 'friends' would have to give up the limelight. Thanks for the visit -- I was sort of excited when I 'saw' him take shape.
@taffy Brilliant Taffy you have really made me laugh!! Such a great face - I love the way you have done this macro - very creative!! You seem to be following a theme of your own - macro - make a human!! LOL!! I need to get my act together for the man made theme. Big Fav for making me laugh!!
Oh, so creative are you... your clippie has a face! :) Great off-kilter eyes. There is nothing like a cold day to search for a muse inside. This is really unusual. Nice!
