Junko @jyokota and I took the just-over-three-hours quite comfortable Polski Bus ride from Wroclaw to Krakow this morning, to be greeted by incessant rain until just after dark. Despite it, we joined parts of 2 walking tours (Jewish Quarter, Old Town), bailing from both because of being very cold and wet. We were so worried about our cameras we ended up actually putting them away rather than risk them on the walking tours. However, by evening we were rewarded with lovely wet cobblestone streets for a relatively short but fun night photo shoot. This was converted to b&w using Nik Suite Silver Efex. For six work story 27 and Street-2 theme.
As always, thanks for your visits and lovely comments and your favs for my b&w long hallway image and on P3's visit to Junko's class.

Such a shame about the weather as Krakow is such a beautiful and interesting place with so much history. As you say though the wet cobbles really look wonderful here.
Stunning photo...you are great with capturing leading lines that create great depth, Taffy,...love the wet cobblestones, reflections, lighting...great composition too...fav
I remember that collage football game I attended last fall. I so wanted to try my hand at things. But the rain just got to bad and I opted for keeping my camera dry (if not so much me). A few pics are never worth a camera. Lovely evening shot.
FAV !! Love the feel of this picture, and love the curvy line that takes the viewer right into it. Looks much better than it felt to be there in the wet and cold!
Now I have a bit more time I just wanted to add I immediately thought of The 3rd Man when I saw this - I half expected to see Harry Lime lurking in the background
This is such an amazing shot, Taffy. I love the wet cobblestone and the detail you captured of it so well. It looks like a still shot from a movie. One of my favorites of yours for sure. FAV
Fantastic shot, so much to love about it. I like the man and his umbrella his sense of movement ad his isolation from those in distance. Great night street shot and super b&w edit.

Thanks so much! I was excited to see it there -- especially since it's b&w!
