This is inside the Hancock observation deck where @ukandie1 and I took the skyline photos we've been posting. You can see the criss-cross beam to the right -- this is one of the distinctive exterior features of the building. The ceiling is lined with mirrors, giving some wonky effects when wandering inside and taking interior photos. This is where I was when taking the south-facing panos. You can see the vertical beam in the image as well -- hard to avoid those.
WOW...So if I get the shudders just looking at the mirrored ceiling... I might possibly (might) consider this observation deck... Not in any hurry to make that decision! Thanks for sharing this, however, as it makes it clear what they have to offer!
That's such an interesting shot Taffy, I was totally confused until I read your explanation. I like that you have converted to b&w too. Hope all is well, have you put your house on the market yet?
I love this. Like the others, I was a bit confused til I read the explanation but it's such an interesting shot that I would have liked it whether I understood it or not! Great work
@pamknowler You will -- just think good thoughts for Tripod Monday to still happen and for decent weather. This is going to be our Monday walk, we hope (River to Beach to Hancock).
