Color version of photo in main album:
A very rainy day so I returned to cleaning up my photo catalogue and hard drive. I came across images taken in 2010 in Montana, long before understanding RAW and Lightroom and processing. There were a number of promising 'snapshots' but they didn't rise to what I'd consider to be a composition. I had fun seeing what I could do with a few of the most promising and liked the layers in the mountains and reflections in this image.

How beautiful! Just been reading about Montana and it sounds and looks gorgeous! Maybe I will do my Grand Tour one day and see some more of your wonderful country! This was a gem you found! It’s a job a really need to do - just sit and clean up my laptop! Fav!
The layers are sensational. It must have been the day for cleaning up hard drives today. I hope you had more luck than me. I started at 9:30 and by 10 I was bored with it, so went outside and took more photos which is only going to make it harder on my poor old hard drive. LOL
Could this be Lake McDonald? It is on the West side of the park, easily accessible from the town West Glacier. This photo is beautiful, Taffy. I’m sure it was beautiful before Lightroom, too.
