Another great exhibition at Wolverhampton Art Gallery. This one is by Su Richardson “known for her humorous crocheted sculptures that confront notions of femininity and domesticity”. This piece is called ‘Out of the Bag’ (self-portrait).
We found ourselves at the gallery late in the day so only managed the ground floor. We will definitely be back though.
How absolutely amazing this is! Fabulous capture of this art, what a great artist she must be. I used to crochet a lot when I was young, cannot imagine doing anything like this though. Would love to see it.
