Dirk is very interested in history (military, family, local, etc). These are just a few that he dips into occasionally. On the right is a pile of mine (Anthony Powell’s ‘A Dance to the Music of Time’ series) waiting until I can complete the series before starting to read it.
Interesting books. I see you only have two more books in the Powell's series to get. Maybe you can get them from Abebooks.

@onewing I did try last year, Babs, along with World Books, Amazon etc, but I think everyone was locked down and reading lots. It’s time to try again, I think.
@happypat In our old house I used to keep books I’d enjoyed in case I wanted to read them again. We downsized when we moved here and I kept just six, but I’ve now realised that I don’t have enough years left in me to reread books when there are so many great unread books out there. I think I have about 1500 unread books currently, but I just can’t stop adding to them 🙄🙂
