...to reinforce my learning on how to capture 'silky' water, here's another picture of a small cascade from the park in which the the statue of St. Judicaël stands (365 album yesterday) - this one is almost at his feet.
@tosee Yes, I used a variable ND filter Tom and I discovered that the 0 to 10 scale is, in fact, logarithmic - in yesterdays shooting conditions, 90% closed required an exposure of 8-10 seconds whereas at 100% closed, I needed 3 minutes. I bought it a year ago, but I have never used it until now. This won't be the last time though!
@fishers Well Lucy, the Arthur legend in France has its roots in this area and we have Merlin's Leap, Merlin's Tomb, The Valley of no Return, The Fountain of Youth, Arthur's Castle (Château de Comper) and a whole heap of other places from the Arthur Legend. All the streets in Paimpont Village are named after places and characters from the Knights of the Round Table so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the fairies Viviane and Morgane showing their faces here.
