I wasn't intending to post any more wind-turbine shots - at least not for a while - and then today I passed a turbine some 300-400 metres away across the fields and saw that there was a maintenance crew at work in a suspended cradle. I didn't have a long lens with me so this image is heavily cropped.
No comments necessary - I just thought that this was interesting enough to share for its own sake.
One doesn't get a sense of how large these things are without a reference scale. The people on the lift really provide a dramatic scale comparison. It's rare that you can get that shot. Good job.
Really interesting capture - so glad you posted it! I have had the chance to climb to the top of one of these in Norfolk, England. You get the feel of it swaying everso slightly!
