Wait Over... by vignouse

Wait Over...

I posted a photo of this tree back in February entitled - "Waiting for Spring..." - http://365project.org/vignouse/365/2014-02-26 When I passed by today, the scene looked very different and it seemed a shame not to capture the difference that 4 months can make.
Such a wonderful specimen of tree. LOVE how you framed it here. I'd love to see it covered in snow. You should do a 4 seasons version of this tree. I did one like it last year here: http://365project.org/amandal/365-year-2/2013-11-09

Beautiful composition in lovely greens.

Interesting conformation of the ground around this tree - good for picnics!

@amandal @anazad511 Thanks both - snow might be a bit ambitious for this area Amanda, but I will probably be able to manage a pic with heavy hoar frost clinging to the branches... but I'd rather not think about that just yet ;-)

Clever framing. A very satisfying image.

Look so different. Great framing

Nicely framed - it's a somewhat different scene from the original shot, but I like the play of the light and shadow in this one

@graemestevens it's a slightly different PoV Graeme... but the main difference is that the original was shot with a 17 mm lens on an APS-C sensor camera, and this one was shot with a 8mm lens, on the same camera.

Awesome! The mad wide-angle creates the best natural framing from the leaves and shadow of the tree behind the camera. Actually it somewhat resembles an eyeball to me :)

A lovely ode to a tree. :)

nice simplicity and framing.

I love to be able to compare the tree in the two seasons. Nice.

Nice framing, and interesting to be able to compare the two.

I went and looked at the winter edition and wanted to see what I posted. I didn't don't know where I was. But I remember it and loved those tree bone pictures. But isn't it amazing what a little sunshine and water can do. Nice framing too.

A super shot and excellent framing! Nice to see how this lovely tree has burst back into life - quite a contrast with your earlier shot!
