This factory on the outskirts of Swindon was built by Motorola for the manufacture of large scale integrated circuits for use in mobile phones and was subsequently bought by Vygon and is now used for the manufacture of pharmaceutical products.
The common link? Both have to be manufactured under clinically clean conditions and the necessary air-conditioning and cleansing plant is housed in the big round tube on the roof of the building.
Amazing building - it would catch the eye of anyone around and they would then see Vygon. Unfortunately I've never heard of Vygon but perhaps I should have!
