Dracula's Lair? by vignouse

Dracula's Lair?

A view of the ruins of .Whitby Abbey which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker to write Dracula who is said to be buried in the adjacent churchyard. The town will host a Bram Stoker weekend at the beginning of November which is expected to bring in thousands of visitors.- most of them suitably attired - and the ruins will be specially lit for the occasion.
Excellent as always, we never made it to Whitby but I was familiar with the association

Ha ha ... I heard it was Slains Castle near Peterhead in Scotland! This is a super image though, and a very imposing ruin.

Nice shot. Let's hope the place has a basement or a crypt or any descendant of Dracula's would be hard pressed to find a spot well protected from the midday sun!
