The expression to do bird is to be in prison. Interestingly this chickens were in a large field enclosed with fencing. In the field were some Llamas. Apparently the llamas are pack animals and consider the chickens to be part of their pack. If any predators enter the field the llamas are very noisy and deter predators.
When we walked alpaccas last year we were told that they'd been introduced to stop the foxes getting the lambs. Now they're a lucrative, money for old rope, income to get people to walk and feed them as well!!
