This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo.
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @and name.
Also this may be a great time to mention, but the latest discussion feed can only hold the last eight topics, so before you post a new discussion for a question, check to see if there is another discussion already started through the search feature.
this is a hard week for this - so many fabulous photos - everyone must be feeling reinspired in the new year and, like me, sick of the holidays; this one by Lora G - @loragill - "absorption" is particularly wonderful:
There were so many incredible shots this week. I don't know how the magic monkeys will pick top 20! I loved this shot from @maeva it was only the second photo in her project.
@mcdougall@cfitzgerald on behalf of myself and @4stories - thank you ladies!!! I've got that one as my screensaver and it looks fab large!! Might have to blow up and print. Thanks again Liz!
I had to go with this one from @daliadestructo who had been missing for about 9 months. She came back and posted this brilliant image that I'd love to have hanging on my wall.
This was a FAV of mine, done by John Hulland, someone I recently began following. I love trees, and also the country, so I really felt a connection with this beauty.
@brumbe Thanks Paula. I do love to participate in this thread every week. This week I've chosen an older photo by a brand new 365er. She happens to be middle son's girlfriend but I love this shot (I may be a tad biased due to the subject matter ;o)) Her name's @melhooper and I'd better give a bit of a shout out to middle son too who's just started this project @guitaristaidan.
okay, so I'm a newbie here myself, so I hope I got this right ....this is a photo by @Shaun Munro that I think is just fabulous! (In fact, I think all his work is worth a gander -- they are ALL brilliant!)
Wow- I had some great favs to choose from this week! I wish I could post them all,but I'll put up this one by Nick Coleby for it's stormy mood and expansive landscape. @neeko
You can only pick one!!? This is my first week here and the talent and scope of what I have viewed is amazing, awe inspiring and also making me feel rather daunted at sharing my beginner attempts. @momsta, thanks for the mention.
@brumbe It is a real shame like you said that this disappeared from the side. It is a great thread that anyone can post on and a great way of sharing shots and seeing other peoples work. A thread I often pop back to! And one that anyone new to the site can comment on!!
Hard to pick this week, but I go with this one by Stacy @sdpace. So calm and peaceful. @brumbe Thanks for including me, I would have missed this week otherwise! :-)
The 365th photo by Wendy (@exposure4u) is beautiful. It was taken in "The Garden of the Gods" in Colorado; which is a beautiful area of Colorado that Wendy has shared with us this past year.
This is my first week on 365 and I have discovered some truely talented people with amazing photographs and now thanks to this thread, I'm finding even more!
This week I'm going to choose a photo by @ihatehiccups - not necessarily because it's "the best" photo on the site but because I know just how much hard work has been put in to get these pictures and it's the first week she's ever owned a digital camera. I love the ideas she's coming up with and how she's starting to learn photography.
I am faving Jason Daniels @bobfoto because he is doing the most amazing project this year. Every day I can't wait to see what he has to share with us. Check it out, you will love the photos as well as the stories...
@buttercup - why thank you Mary. I think being part of the favourite fave thread is more of an honour then the mystery behind the magic monkeys. Thank you Mary :)
Had to fav thos one because I'm a licensed rider and motorcycles will always be my favorite subject. I don't have fancy equipment, lighting or software yet but when/if I do I hope I come up with sexy professional shots like this one by @Jinximages
Many many FAVs this week. I thought i could post one faved today. This amazing picture by @pepitaliang: I had to i just browsed through one hundred of her pictures. Awesome work.
Photo by @annaruth I think this is an amazing shot, it's both delicate and beautifully edited. When I noticed this picture it bought back warms memories of childrens books and a mother's gentle touch.
I have to just pick one?! Impossible too many great shots I've been spoiled. These two seemed so serene and gentle and both marked a new year in a way that felt right ... they certainly help soothe my exhaustion this week! From Barbara @bmnorthernlight
So hard to pick, but I really love this one - the contrast of the coloured boats on the grey pebbles - I would buy this if it was in a shop!! @petervanallen
@tashj My fave, not just because it's my daughter, but because my friend chose this one to tell the story from the squillions of surfing shots she took that day - creative in itself.
@devanago Fab shot!
I love the soft focus and the lighting...And it's Chicago.
Thank you so much Melissa! What an Honor:)
My day is brighter now!

@ claireuk. I enjoy Claire's photos. This one is a winner.
Going for this one so sweet, so soft, the expression and the crossed legs. A new 365 er ! @clarequinn
My fave from this week is def. this one!
@houdiniem
No contest, really.
This one from @michelleyoung for the quality of the shot but the effort in obtaining it.
Hard to pick this week, but I go with this one by Stacy @sdpace. So calm and peaceful.
@brumbe Thanks for including me, I would have missed this week otherwise! :-)
@kerristephens

@beamqueen
One of my favorites of any that I've favorited
wonderful shot by @blerinab
Photo by @annaruth I think this is an amazing shot, it's both delicate and beautifully edited. When I noticed this picture it bought back warms memories of childrens books and a mother's gentle touch.
and Christie @christiehicks
this is my favourite @onyx17
@iqscotland has really captured a beautiful swan, the eyes are so expressive and the neck, well done!
I love all the details in this pic @cpmitchell
this is just lovely!
@kimbitner
@jojo2009
Stunningly beautiful. It's like looking at another world, a magical fantastical wintery world. (Narnia?)
