"What is Valentine's Day?? - This is the title of my pic for today as for our family it has a very different meaning. Today is International CHD Awareness Day (Congenital Heart Disease). This is a photo that I took of my son that was used for the front page of our local paper for an awareness article. He was born with a complex heart defect and you can read more about it but going to my pic and clicking on the link to the article - thanks and Happy Heart Day xxxx
And...dinner. NY Strip butterflied to look like a heart. Roasted potatoes (red, white and blue), and tomato avocado salad. Sour cream paprika sauce to go with. I think the Erath Pinot Noir affected my shutter finger. Pic's a smidge blurry. Tasty dinner, just the same.
ok, mine is not so lovey-dovey but it is all about the moment and the time I get to spend with my love...oh, and there's a quote to match which inspired the shot!
