Favorite picture of your project December 8-14 and Why

December 15th, 2012
Post your favorite photo of your own project from this past week to share with those that may not otherwise see it. Lets also put WHY or WHAT about it you like.
There were some really great photographs last week. It is fun to see what you like of your posts as it is not always what everyone else chooses.

There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.

Because I really liked it and it created alot of new followers which I am grateful for.
December 15th, 2012
Because I hadn't tried intentional camera movement before, and because it captured just how cold I was feeling!
December 15th, 2012
Because I love photographing the simplicity of this local place, and on thursday it looked so beautiful at sunrise.
December 15th, 2012
Jim
I was happy with the color and detail of this one SOOC
December 15th, 2012
This was an unintended shot, but I like how it turned out.
December 15th, 2012
This was my favorite, because this figurine is very special to me and because I was able to have it turn out like I'd pictured in my head.

December 15th, 2012
I was pleased with this shot. I normally use editing very little, but his photo taught me about how much editing could do for an image!

December 15th, 2012
Haha I feel kinda bad posting on this thread still because I just finished up my first year and am no longer posting on a daily basis, but I still like this one from 10th December (my birthday! haha)

December 15th, 2012
This is my favorite, because of the amount of effort I put into getting a good shot of the amaryllis in bloom.

December 15th, 2012
Just because it's so non-traditional. ;-)

December 15th, 2012
I love to edit my photos but apart from a little crop this one was just right so I left it as is..

December 15th, 2012
Just love the lighting, soft colors and detail in this one.

December 15th, 2012
This one from yesterday as I feel it really conveys the emotion of yesterday's tragedy in Ct.

December 15th, 2012
I like the challenge of getting the bokeh to look like it was steam coming out of the tiny smoke stack.
December 15th, 2012
We went with friends to the Old Port to shoot fireworks but we were attracted to this beautiful reflection of the Old Montreal; it was just a moment in time when the water was very still and made a perfect reflection, then it got windy, as usual, and the reflection disappeared.
December 15th, 2012
I've tried for a while to get a decent diving shot. I was pleased with the focus on his feet and the dof on the rest of his body.

December 15th, 2012

December 15th, 2012
My cat Paris cos he's cute...

December 15th, 2012
My first long exposure in a while and my only shot that morning.

December 15th, 2012

December 15th, 2012

I enjoyed having a go at adding textures
December 15th, 2012
this one because I achieved exactly what I set out to achieve (a particular artistic style) and I would hang it on my wall (and more than likely will)
December 15th, 2012
While I was very pleased with the pictures from the 8th, 10th and 13th, the picture from the 9th is the one that means the most to me from this week. It represents a moment in which Washington State recognized that approximately 4-10% (depending on the study) are equal human beings to the rest of us. There is a link on the image to a Facebook album with many more pictures from the day.

December 15th, 2012
This one, because I honestly haven't been this motivated to set up Christmas in a long time; and that's a good feeling!

December 15th, 2012

This one, because as of late I have not set out to take many pics. I deliberately stopped on the side of the road to get this, took my time and admired the morning sky.
December 15th, 2012
This little shetland looks so sweet and cute, doesn't it?

December 15th, 2012

December 15th, 2012
My creativity has been lagging for several reasons, so I am choosing this one of my daughter decorating the tree, because it is a picture of my daughter decorating the tree...in a Santa hat..with a tiara on it. How could that not be my favourite.
December 15th, 2012

December 15th, 2012
One of the treasures in my house, and the shot turned out nicely with the golds and reds, framed by the black case.

December 15th, 2012
Because I manned-up, ticked this shot off my bucket list and didn't get electrocuted in the process!

December 15th, 2012
Some outstanding images this week, folks - well done! My favourite this week was taken on about as perfect a frosty morning as I can remember, which is reason enough:

December 15th, 2012
This one, just because of the joy of capturing something that is so fleeting:

December 15th, 2012

Hoar frosts give a different dimension to shots, I also love bright, crisp, sunny days.

My first bokeh shot and it was accidental!

December 16th, 2012
December 16th, 2012
i love the colors and when i zoomed in and focused on the curled petals - the whole picture changed.

December 16th, 2012
December 16th, 2012
I dont have a reason why- maybe because it puts me in the mood for Christmas.
December 16th, 2012
December 16th, 2012
I have very mixed emotions about this shot. This is the angle that I wanted, but I would have preferred it to have been an angle of joy as opposed to sorrow. You'll have to click on the photo to read the rest of the story, which, unfortunately, we all know too well by now.

December 16th, 2012
It was a good day all round :)

December 16th, 2012
Because of my love for the whole process that is HDR.
