It's SPRING where I am, so a wonderful good morning to you all!
This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo. Please don't forget to CREDIT their photo with the username!
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @and name.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
I fav'd quite a few this week, but this is something out of the ordinary for Ruth, who normally specialises in people, so I think it deserves an extra special mention.
Mine is from my friend MaryBeth @espyetta. I had photographed a dandelion and mentioned it to her. Having never photographed one before, she then added a series of awesome shots - one of which was this one:
I love this one by @kenteroo for a couple of reasons. One, it's a great shot that's typical L.A. Two, she was in my area and I wish I'd known. Would have liked to organized a meet up. Perhaps in the future?
what Betsie has been doing this week with her perfect strangers has been nothing short of amazing. The portraits are so poignant and the stories that go with them will move you. This was my favorite from @eyesofbetsie
@jsw0109 Dearest Jeff, I can't thank you enough for taking interest in my Perfect Stranger project. I try to meet someone new every day (on the days that I'm at Market). I find myself completely aghast by discovering how society chooses not to see people. I'm findin them! Many thanks my friend!! x, Betsie
With all the talent on this website, it is so difficult to chose just one photo! This one by @cazann really stood out for me (especially as the Iris is one of my favourite flowers!).
Very hard to choose this week. Some of my favorite fav's have already been posted. Here's one I liked by @sparkle for the reflection and the fact that it's a rare view to be able to capture. Processing was also well done.
totally this one by @gigiz - the focus on the cats eyes along makes it... the fact that Gigi and the cat are walking in sync is just the icing on the cake...
And he (she?) is doing a whole year of blue photographs!! - not even started mine yet - seems like a massive challenge to me - let alone adding a theme like a single color!!!
@masosy clever shot worth the perseverance
