I love owls - those eyes that just seem to see straight through you. I'd never seen one for real until I met this one in Edinburgh. I was so thrilled to get a shot of those eyes that showed that stare.

I don't often do abstract but this is one that I did for our Camera Club set subject...Water ... in any form.. I like the colours of this shot and I think it would frame up ok for the wall...

I found this piece of art to be quite evocative, and I was drawn to it in many ways. It received some comments that it was controversial and disturbing, which I find completely appropriate. After all, If art does not convey strong emotions (just like our photography), then what is its purpose?

@mcsiegle It does that - all I saw when I took the shot was a twisted knot, but every time I look at it I see more, to the point where I even blush now ;)
