Bug Food or Weed?

This weevilly beetle (Louise will know what it is!) is about 1.5 cm long and was having a glorious time diving into the pollen and I suppose sucking up nectar. Apart from a very sever crop, this is sooc!
A great shot of this unusual beetle.

It looks quite brown here but I suspect it was a bit greenish in reality and wouls say it's a female thick legged flower beetle (only the males have the thick thighs)

Okay - I am finally issuing your challenge! So sorry for the delay!
It was once commented by another member for a get pushed challenge that I am a 'recording' type photographer, reacting to my surroundings. (so true) So, she challenged me to be pro-active and to bring some cut flowers into my home, set up a table near a window with the light falling sideways onto the flowers. Build a still life with a few more objects that are sympathetic to the flowers and take a photograph by natural light with as wide open an aperture as I can manage.

I noticed that you are also more of a recording type photographer although you do have a few 'set-ups' in your project. Your Chinese bowl and chop-sticks, yellow pepper funny face, and honey jug are what I call set-ups but not true still lifes if you know what I mean.

So, I am passing on the same challenge to you!
