Gift of "Ashes of Roses" Roses

Many, many, moons ago I read "The Thorn Birds", the protagonist's favourite colour was Ashes of Roses, which I couldn't really imagine at the time.
Gorgeous capture and frame filler! I loved that book and the series πŸ‘πŸΌ

I can't remember for sure if I read "The Thron Birds". I believe I did. My wife did read it, but we definitely watched the television series.

I remember the movie but never read the book. The ICM gives the illusion of layers of fabric.
