Graham by 30pics4jackiesdiamond

Graham

Graham was litter picking, something he's done on the hill for 12 years. Most of the rubbish he gathers is generated by the burger van permanently sited there.

Graham was in the RAF for 37 years, he was a radar technician, qualified to work on Lightnings, but never worked on them. When he left the forces he then worked for the MoD.

He told me a bit more about the Falklands Plantation ( which I've posted on TheDarkroom ) which I'd walked up to visit.
I really like this portrait, especially the fact that he’s not looking directly at the camera! It makes me wonder if the youth of today will be as conscientious as he is, when they are his age

Perhaps some others doing the same or maybe eating the burgers over his shoulder. He has a nice smile.

Good for Graham. We did a post-Coronation-party litter pick on Monday. Very cathartic!
