Before Craptasting

Kali suggested losing the blur layer, so this is what it looked like before I did this

Which do YOU prefer??
@kali66 here you go, what I started with. @northy tried to do a 'you'

this works - those miniaturising layers - tilt shift - work well on things like towns in the distance or trains - sort of make something look like a toy town figure. I have some on Flickr.

Like this better

Why is the horse brownish in this one and not in the other? I can't imagine the blur layer causing the horse to turn black? I like the clarity of the white horse in this one, but prefer the strong black and white of the other.

I prefer this one.

@overalvandaan forgot I'd turned it grey scale monochrome!! Duhhhhhh. Thanks for helpful critique
@joansmor me too
@shannejw but it works so well for others!!!

are they doing their own miniaturisation or using a program with lots of choices? (I don't have a program but learned how to do it)

I think I prefer this one. Fabulous light

I think Kali was spot on - that white horse is such a major component that he looks better in all his sharpness. It's very interesting - the white one grabs your attention and then you see how clear and sharp the black one is too.

This is a better image for me because in the other one, the white horse is all about the circular nose.

@grammyn took a while to sort
@shannejw it's a slider on app I use
@carole_sandford why though?

@30pics4jackiesdiamond because I have an aversion to blurred pictures - I still remember the truprint stickers!! Lol

I prefer the clarity of this one :)

Nice light. I prefer it without the blur.

@craigwantsnack thank you, why does blur work for other people though!!??
