I cannot resist traditinal mince pies, today I was introduced to Heston's chocolate and bitter cherry-cue photo shoot opportunity.
Dogwood prompt this week is Food Photography, and I wanted to showcase that I've learnt about balance in my composition- so removing the odd one out.
I am disappointed that the photo doesn't really show the movement of me taking the pie off the plate, but ho hum it was fun experimenting and then I ate my prop. Certainly doesn't qualify as a mince pie!
LOL Jackie- excellent idea to remove that unwanted No 4 - can't have an unbalanced shot! And even though your super image isn't showing the actual movement it does make it appear that is was a ghostly hand which was responsible. It's very clever. :)
I lost a competition once for being non-traditional in the mince pie line! Can see your intention here - makes for a good shot - and I like the little Christmas trees!
