Viewers of 'The Repair Shop' will recognise the building bottom right.
For more information about this remarkable museum look here . The museum's buildings are often featured in period dramas and documentaries and recently I spotted one in an episode of Dr Who!
@wendyfrost thank you Wendy, us too @farmreporter many thanks @randystreat the buildings are fascinating with authentic reproduction furniture @haskar many thanks @cashep19 thank you @carole_sandford gosh, it is! Totally transformed with few buildings in the same place @salza it's fascinating, some buildings over 600 years old, moved to a place of safety @365anne can't get anywhere near their buildings, even when they're not there @grammyn it's brilliant, even ploughing done traditional way ( plougher being fitter than a tractor!) @wakelys frost still on the ground, beautiful blue sky, sunshine ( no artists painting though!) A perfect visit
@casablanca they've used Covid Time so well to erect houses in store, renovate tired ones, relocate many!!!
They looked after their members, as only they could visit when Green Spaces opened up in 2020, ( our membership had lapsed!!)
Repair Shop brings in many new visitors ( who are advised on line when booking you cannot then visit the set!) and He and I love spotting it as a film location!!
This looks like such a wonderful living museum! What luck to have so many great places offering history and/or art so close to you. (I plugged the museumโs address into Apple Maps and asked for directions from Havant) Great selection of photos. Any one of them could be a dayโs posting all by itself!
