I hadn't left the shop before I'd opened the envelope to leaf through 36 photos taken on a 20+ year old ISO 400 Kodak film with my Mum's Canon EOS 1000F.
I took a few photos each month over a four month period, many on auto but a few in aperture priority. I'm really chuffed that most are ok, rubbish ones due to operator error!!
This collage shows my six favourites. I'll post more for Analogue August as the month progresses.
I first learned on a little automatic film camera and remember well the anticipation of seeing the photos. These are remarkable and most impressive especially for the Composition and focus
@wakelys I'll show you the rest when next we meet it's not cheap to have processed and printed!!! @grammyn I'm sooooo pleased, but it would have been a top of the range, of its time, camera with short cuts as the norm!! @amyk I've forgotten so many if my analogue skills @la_photographic v kind, thanks Laura @Weezilou you need to improve your dream recipe
We used to use Truprint. Remember the little stickers that you sometimes used to get on them, probably saying that it was blurred or something ( as If you couldn’t tell!)
I'm not sure when you actually took the photos, but I've found as I look through old photos that I'm still drawn to the same subjects. It looks like you are too.
@randystreat my brother had the camera in his loft with an unopened film. They were given to me this last springp so photos taken this year. (We really wanted to find a part used film in the camera!) @wendyfrost excited now to put a modern film through @taffy but we knew no different, it's weird not to have a screen to preview the shot
