I've been a total bum today, and it started this morning...
Actually, I got up at my usual early hour, came to the computer while Ken golfed, and realized I'd finally hit a wall. I was sleep deprived and exhausted, so I returned to sleep a little longer. I woke up when Ken came home around 10! He made us coffee & we took it out on the back deck, but it was already so hot, we stayed long enough for pictures and headed back inside! (It was 74F-23C at that hour and got up to 84F-28C by afternoon) Later this summer, the sitting area is more shaded in the morning, and we enjoy sitting, watching the birds at the feeder, and listening to the horse carriages clip-clop by.
I know someone's going to ask...I got the patio set at Pier 1 in Halifax when we first bought the house. I just love it, and it so suits that corner.
Ken puttered in the yard this afternoon and I just enjoyed cruising through 365 for hours. Tomorrow I'm getting back on schedule and Ken & I will begin our morning walks with the neighbors, Billy & David. We follow a road around a beautiful inlet, so water view all the way.
Speaking of water views, Suzie has posted a picture in Mahone Bay tonight...it's just 5 miles/8km from us.
http://365project.org/stownsend/travels/2010-05-25 Our Australian friends and many more live there, so I'll show you around that neighborhood, too, one of these days. As I sit here now, it seems like plenty of time, but it's always a shock how fast it's gone when we come to the end of our visit. Meanwhile, I plan to fill the day tomorrow and continue to enjoy each day as it unfolds.

I should have mentioned...Denise is joining us for coffee in the morning...
I saw Suzie's picture of Mahone Bay - it's absolutely gorgeous! Looking forward to you taking us around the area, too! :-)
It's all good, eh?
Ok now... I'm wishing I could have cooler weather like you... hahaha a high of 84, wow! Sounds like heaven for this Texas gal. ;)
I adore morning walks, such a perfect way to start the day.
Keep on taking it easy, your photo makes me relaxed just looking at it!
Secondly, Hi there! It's great to see you again! You look so happy and relaxed...now go unpack that suitcase, Missy! ;-)
I can spend hours and hours here looking at pictures too. Before I know it I haven't gotten a thing done!
You had said something about finding a circle of friends to take pictures with in my area. I really enjoyed the field trips I took with photography class and then I wasn't taking classes for a while so I started a Yahoo group and invited a bunch of people. My teacher even joined when I started taking classes again! It's great fun!
Have a wonderful evening!
PS-- I love your patio furniture, it's beautiful!
thanks for sharing the link!!
