You've probably seen the the little snow-packed Carin on her profile picture... That's Tamara whom I've been looking forward to meeting since I saw she lived up the road from me here in Nova Scotia. Http://365project.org/Tamara/365/2010-08-16 We've been in touch over the summer, and finally today we crossed paths here in Lunenburg when she came for a visit. *What a delight she is!* "365" has been such a bonding place with a commonality of interest, it's a perfect springboard to strike up conversation and the rest just falls into place! The afternoon fell away as we chatted, got to know one another and (of course!) took pictures. I was delighted that Dill dropped in for a late afternoon snack as we share a love for our cats, and he's certainly a part of our summer household! Ken and I couldn't have had a nicer time! I'll leave her to enjoy the Nova Scotia winter in our absence, but am already looking forward to getting together again next summer...if not sooner! Until next time, Tam!
how fun is that?! love these shots, and really love this community here. so neat that you two got to meet! and dill looks amazingly happy snuggled in your arms! (:
How nice that you two got to meet up and that Dill stopped by to meet Tamara too! I didn't realize just what a big boy he is! I'm glad you guys had a good time.
Oops! I didn't read that very well, did I? My apologies to Tamara!
I've been a little bit "down" about leaving, but I really am blessed to have the amount of time I get (and need to remember that)! I was really hoping to get into the water today, but it didn't happen. (I've been known to get on the plane with salty skin - LOL!)
How wonderful, Louise!!! 365 really brings people together!! I am sure it was a delighful day, I can see it in your smiles!! And how cute that even Dill came to say 'hi!" ;-))) Lovely collage!
How fabulous to meet up with a 365 friend like that - I'd love to be able to do that - there are so many great people on this site that it would be fun to meet in person - maybe a world tour one day!!! You both look great - so does Dill of course!
I guess I'm not the only one who's impressed by Dill's size - what a big fellow!!!Wow! And what a great get together, 365 really is a great project to get to know so many people and share your interests with them. I had not expected it would be such a nice and heartwarming experience before I joined. I thought it was just taking photos every day and uploading them to your own calendar..I was very pleasantly surprised to read the comments and now I always look forward to them whenever I've put a new picture on. I love seeing everyone elses pictures too, and commenting on them. What a nice way to use the computer and 'meet' people !!!
What lovely portraits, it's great to meet people through the project! Glad Dill is on the mend too. Sorry to see you leave beautiful Nova Scotia soon, not only that it, heralds the long autumn and winter months.
What a fantastic day....and to meet someone from here who you already knows shares part of your world and interests..brilliant! You all look so happy. Thanks for your comments about the reflections in the glasses, maybe I should have changed and had a tidy up!!lol...as for the wine, well that's Chris' department and he has a wardrobe full out in the garage! I'm not joking!
I just thrilled that you two got to meet! How wonderful can that be? Two 365er's in Nova Scotia getting together! Darn, how I would have loved to have been there. Next time!

Louise, thank you so much for the lovely note!! The puppies were too cute, but i am sure Tao wouldn't love the company... Cats are all about the attention, you know ;-) I am glad i got a photo-memory, though! Next on the list is a candid stranger's shot! ;-) I just started a new thread that can benefit from a photo from you: http://365project.org/discuss/general/1435/show-usyour-home ;-) Have a lovely evening, dear friend! ;-)
Just lovely. How wonderful to be able to make those 365 connections in person. I have truly enjoyed your photos from your NS summer, and I will definitely be missing the daily Dill updates, haha.
So very cool that the two of you got to meet! I've met so many people in person that I first met online. I have a monthly lunch with some friends who are in an online group with me and we have a great time. Each time someone new comes.
What lovely shots of you two and of course Dill! :D
It's so good to meet up with friends from 365.
I'm sure when I go back to US or Canada I will try to meet up too!
