He's the son and grandson of best friends of mine here in Lunenburg. I caught him in an unguarded moment and loved the timeless quality of this beautiful child.
@stownsend Thanks, Suzie... His grandmother called me immediately and has ordered 5x7 prints (and in color, too) for both herself & her daughter... @aglennc I assume you mean the 1920s ;) (though it IS timeless!) Thanks for liking it. He's a gorgeous child and very sweet... @gerry Thanks so much for the fav Gerry...makes me smile! @pyrrhula You know it's always nice to see you drop by, Ferry! Thanks!
@Weezilou Opps, yes. Haha! Definitely 1920s. Durned arthritic fingers. They "hit" the wrong keys now and then. I've got to check before pressing "send"!
@ceilidh Thanks, Margaret! I just delivered the photos to my friend (Eli's grandmother) and she was delighted with them. Liked this one better than the original in colour. It always pleases me when I can give something like this to someone and make them that happy :)
@chard Regarding the book, Ken's on pg 239 & just read me a passage about going to Lunenburg to get new block & tackle from Dauphinee's. Thought you might find it interesting that our house belonged to this Dauphinee family.
